Acrylic on Canvas ready to hang.
30×40
At the end of February I was lucky enough to have an artist residency. A place all my own to paint to my heart’s delight. As the days got longer and just a bit warmer, my thoughts went to spring.
Light Blossoming began with a free-style application of paint from a squeeze bottle and from there I focused on pinks, reds, oranges and a hint of green. To me it feels like the hope of spring and I personally can’t wait to see those colors explode in my garden, but in the meantime, the painting serves as a wonderful reminder of eternal hope and for all of us to search out the light in our lives.
