This painting was inspired by my new direction in art this year after taking an Emily Ball Master Class in Orlando, Florida. I want to explore the use of negative space, fluid, loose paint strokes and a limited color palette to express this idea of flourishing and blooming while acknowledging its brevity.
Beginning to Bloom is matted and framed without glass to make it easier to hang and more importantly, to make it easier for you to see the brush strokes.
