First Refuge was inspired by a recent road trip to the National Parks out west. I fell in love with the ochre-yellow willow trees against the backdrop of the dark blue Teton Mountains. I wanted to express the awesomeness of nature while keeping it fresh with the canvas showing through.
The sides are the white of the canvas to maintain its fresh, open feel.
